Day 5 and Lana decides to appraise us of the Bus Rules
- No farting on the bus
- No laundry on the bus
- No late arrivals – penalty is to sing 1 minute per late minute
Rules can be changed or added at any time, subject to the management.
Someone confesses they've already broken rule 1.
Someone else is already breaking rule 2.
Our Italian already has a backlog of 45mins singing from Day 1. Becky and Laura make a mental note to turn up late every day just so they can have the opportunity to sing. I make a mental note that I only need to be late 1 day and I will be exempt from any future late penalties
En route to Vienna, we pull off the highway into a little Czech village. We tumble out of the bus and there is a scrabbling for any remaining Corunas, as most of us had used the opportunity of the hostel bar the night before to get rid of any shrapnel. Trades are done and we all have the 50c entry needed to get into the little chapel which is in front of us. A little chapel like any other from the outside, but, as we enter, the macabre secret behind it 's name, The Ossuary, is revealed. All around are ornaments and decorations made of human bones and skulls. There is even a huge chandelier in the centre which contains every bone in the body. It's disturbing and fascinating at the same time. We are told this small chapel contains the bones of around 40000 people. It seems hard to believe.
